Hi,

What is the value of idle current inDA16200MOD-AAC4WA32and How to configure it ? Which of the sleep mode 1/2/3 is similar to Idle current (i.e, MCU is ON, Wifi is OFF)?

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Nivethitha,

Thanks for coming and posting on our WiFi forums.

By the idle mode, I assume that you mean what is the current consumption when the device is just sleeping (between beacons) . According to table 14 inDA16200MOD Datasheet:

- In sleep mode 1, power consumption is 0.2 μΑ

- In sleep mode 2, power consumption is 1.8 μΑ

- In sleep mode 3, power consumption is 3.5 μΑ

Detailed description for the 3x Sleep modes can be found in chapter 6.2 Low Power Operation Mode in the datasheet.

Are you using the SDK or the AT Commands to configure the DA16200MOD into sleep mode?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

We are looking to evaluate this for our application,Continuous ECG Monitoring with Single Module(both MCU and Network processor).

From datasheet, we are not clear about the power consumption when theMCU unit is ActiveandNetwork Processor is in SleepState.

Could you confirm the power consumption in this mode.

Hi Nivethitha D,

As you can see from the datasheet (see also my first reply), the sleep current of each sleep mode are :

sleep 1: 0.2uA
sleep 2: 1.8uA
sleep 3: 3.5uA

MCU is off in all the above sleep modes. When MCU is on, the current will be several mA.

Do you need the MCU always ON?

Would it be possible to provide more information about the application / use cases, so we can get back with the proper recommendations?

Thanks, PM_Dialog
