Dear,

Maybe I missed a document and the things below can be ignored, but I think it would be helpful to have a document of setting up the toolchain and updates and the possible mixing of Keil and GCC tools.

So maybe I'm asking for things that are obvious...

I recently tried to install the tools/software/ide with the latest versions, however I get a bit confused. Is there a proper upgrade/install manual for the above?

I do not want to use Keil. The new toolchain supports GCC. So I install the toolchain. Starting smart snippets for DA14850-3 the software starts with complaining Keil is not installed. Continuing shows the button for toolchain using the Eclipse/GCC.
When I do install Keil I do not get the eclipse button, but the uVision button.

That leads to the question: Is the use of GCC limited for chips beyond the DA14853 as preferred toolchain? Must I use Keil (preference) with the DA14850-3?

Secondly I have the SDK 504. I would like to put it in the appropriate place, however there is no instruction or anything on where to put it, or what would the best way to set it up.

Best regards,
R
