This is in theory possible but I am not sure that you will actually safe current.
If you think about the system and the effect of only advertising on one channel the time it will take to establish a connection will in many cases be longer. When you look at the energy consumed when advertising (SmartSnippets) you can see that advertising pr channel is around 3uC and when you compare this with the consumption it would be if an additional advertising event would be needed. Have you taken this system consideration in to account when investigating the total energy saving by only advertising on a single channel?
