Hi,
Customer of mine intend to use DA14585 to design a device with a microphone & a speaker (sort of hands-free like device).
The device records sound and transfers to cellphone through BLE,the cellphone does something with the audio and transfers back to the device through BLE or BT,finally the device plays the audio after cellphone handled.
RCU sample just processes the input part with mic, but not processes the output part.
- Please advise if DA14585 able to do so?
- Is there any audio samples in DA14585? can only with output part
Thanks

Hi alventong,
Regarding the DA14585, the only appropriate reference design is the Voice RCU, as you already mentioned. DA1469x includes an Audio/Voice module as well and the latest SDK10 contains an audio example code. However, I will check the DA14585 questions more detailed internally and I let you know.

亲爱的先生,
Thank you for your reply.
I found a product with similar functions as I surposed above.
(device's mic audio in,then BLE to cellphone, then do something with the sound, finally BLE back to the device and audio out ).
And I found it's using Dialogda14681solution.
Could I achieve the same functions withda14585?
What's the difference between their(da14681 and da14585) application scenarios?
They have PDM & PCM both,CPUs are similar,RAM and ROM sizes are close.
Thanks a lot.
Hi alventong,
Apologies for my late response. DA1468x product family is based on a real-time preemptive Operating System named FreeRTOS. DA1458x product family includes an event driven kernel making application development easy. The kernel offers features such as, BLE events scheduling and handling, message exchange between tasks etc. However, regarding the audio there is the RCU reference design based on the DA14585. For DA14681 there isn’t any available demo. In addition, DA1469x includes an Audio/Voice module as well and the latest SDK10 contains an audio example code.
