No FTDI connection for HCI over UART

我的目标is to test a host controller stack in single mode and, from what I understand, it is necessary to use FTDI to connect to the device. However, there are no instructions on how to connect FTDI for this purpose. The device is connected by USB to the host PC and the jlink USB device enumerate, but no FTDI device ever enumerates. Is it necessary to connect additional cable for this purpose?

Hi dpulsipher,

Hi dpulsipher,

You use the ftdi on the dk, or you can use an external ftdi chip in order to access the controller. If you want to use an external ftdi chip you can refer to the manual UM-B-029 for more details about the uart pins for Rx, Tx, CTS, RTS.

If you want to use the ftdi from the dk please try to:

Start the J-link Commander and type J-Link>wconf 88,1 and then power cycle the J-Link
