we want to measure the signal strength of both transmit and received data in peripheral. The above thread shows only to measurement of received signal strength. so how we can measure transmitted signal strength?
Hi, I am using SDK 5.0.3 software on DA14583DEVKT-B board. I have taken the "ble_app_peripheral" (BLE example projects given).
I wish to increase the BLE transmission power.
I need the following information regarding the BLE transmission. 1. What is the default BLE transmission power. 2. What is the range of BLE transmission power. 3. How I can change the BLE transmission power.
You can find all the information you need in the 580 datasheet. Regarding your questions:
1) The transmittion output power is about 0dBm and -20dBm in Near Field mode.
2) The range of your device depends on your antenna, even with more power on your transmition output you wont go any further with a badly designed antenna.
3) The values available are the ones mentioned above, you can switch between those two options, in order to enable the Near Field mode check the UM-B-051 in appendix E.
Hi, I am using IoT sensor development kit for other application. I want to know whether the antenna design is good or bad. This information will be helpful to understand the range of the BLE transmission.
你好Sabasit,

Hi Mahesh,
I dont get the question, are you having troubles with the IoT dev kit range ?
