Dongle Not recognized

when I try to debug a project on the dongle I get the error "No J-link Device found". In Options for target -> Debug -> settings, there is no SN detected and therefore, no device ID.

This if very bizarre because only a few days ago the dongle was working fine and could be detected without a problem.
I can also debug on the development board (pro) just fine.

Any idea why this has happened? could it be an issue with the dongle's drivers? How can I fix this?

Thanks

UPDATE: I uninstalled the device and tried to reinstall it. On Reinstall, windows tried to automatically locate the driver, but could not find any suitable drivers. Manually selecting the FTDI driver does not work either. The dongle is currently listed as 'CDC ACM'.

UPDATE 2: I deleted the Segger drivers and reinstalled them, then manually installed the drivers for the USB dongle, however it is still not discoverable in debugger settings.

Hi jamartin,

Hi jamartin,

Must be a driver issue on your pc, the dongle should be recongnized in the Device manager as a JLink CDC UART Port and the available port. Reinstalling the drivers is the only thing that comes to mind. I ve tried removing the drivers, windows were able to properly configure the dongle automatically.
