Maximum RF input power

What is the maximum RF input power for the RFIO pin? In table 271 of the data sheet I see PI(max) listed as 10dBm but as a minimum. Is this actually the maximum rated RF input power? Is this frequency dependent? What is the maximum input power for a 600 MHz or 1.2 GHz signal at this pin?

Hi Daniel.Landherr,

Hi Daniel.Landherr,

The min 10dBm input power specified, is the power where we can guarantee a PER<= 30.8%. Higher input power levels might result in an increased in PER.

Distortion signal out of the wanted frequency band (600MHz or 1.2GHz) are specified via a "blocker power level". In Table 272 you can find P~BL~(I) = min -5 dBm.

嗨,丹尼尔,

嗨,丹尼尔,

Please check the answer from our RF team below:

The input power that will damage the device its a bit hard to say.

We have protection diodes at the RFIO. They will get conductive, if a high input power is attached to save the LNA from too high input levels. Getting conductive is reversible, so there is no physical damage. If the current through this diodes is getting really high, a physical damage will happen. According to the designers this is not simulatable and the "only" test that was done is to put 15dBm into the RFIO for a week and no degradation was measurable afterwards.
