Hi Dialog support,
According to the following thread, dynamic role switching is not support by DA14580 for lacking internal flash. That is understandable but is it possible to switch roles on those boards which has external flash to bootload from, such as DA14580 Dev board-basic?

Hi clin_fa,
The dynamic role switch has nothing to do with having or not having a flash (i dont think that i ve mentioned something like this at the post that you ve pasted), the dynamic switch role depends on the stack that 580 has, and not on the flash. So it is possible to switch roles by issuing a GAPM_RESET command in order change the current role of the device. Whatever is mentioned at this post is valid for the 580 as well.
