Dear all,
I am really new to embedded programming and I am playing with my DA14583 IoT Sensor Development Kit.
I "bricked" it, by learning how to use Smart Snippet Toolbox and I have upload hex file to if from SDK 5.0.4\SDK 5.0.4\DA1458x_SDK_5.0.4\DA1458x_SDK\5.0.4\binaries\da1458x\prod_test\prod_test_583.hex
Now when I turn on the kit, the blue light is on, it's not blinking and my mobile device cannot find it.
Please, can you tell me, where can I find the original firmware hex file to "unbrick" it"?
with best regards
tomas
I would have 2 more question please, if possible:
1. In the uVision studio, which pack should I use in the pack installer
2. In the studion, I can build the app (blinky example), but the download F8, doesnt work, even if the device is connected, any help?

Hi ertra,
Its on the 583 product, in the Development Kit section, at the DA14583 IoT Sensor Development Kit, at the botton of the page, you will be able to find all the available files for this reference design.
1. When you install keil you should be able to use it with the default configuration, you dont need to install any special packs.
2. In order to download code to the 58x family you need to build the code and hit the "Start/Stop debug session" (Ctrl+F5) in order to download the code in the sysram of the 580, although i am not sure if the IoT will output anything due to pin configurations.
Since you are getting started please check the available documentation in general for the 580, not only the documents that are about the IoT sensor since the 583 its just a 580 with a flash.
Thanks MT_dialog
I was able to do it!
thank you very much
regards
