Safety Features Application

Some applications require multiple voltage levels to be evaluated, rather than a few distinct levels. This application shows how to use of ACMPs, DCMPs, and an ADC to monitor the voltage amplitude.

Ingredients

Any GreenPAK with ACMPs, DCMPs, and an ADC
Up to eight LEDs and resistors

Design Steps

Power on the ADC, DCMPs, and ACMPs.
Configure the DCMPs usingTechnique: Using DCMP PWM block in PWM mode.
Set theIN-of each ACMP and DCMP with the desired voltage threshold levels.
Add LUT and DFF logic to select and write data of the amplitude of the analog voltage from DCMP1.
